People do not seem to realize that swarming is an instinctive part of the life of the honey bee, it's part of colony reproduction. I can understand that it can be intimidating for some but I think is't a beautiful sight. A swarm can contain up to 30,000 bees. One of the reason it's not dangerous is because the bees are not actually protecting anything. They are looking for a new place to live.

Great site by the way

To funny when you see things like this. You would think people would have enough common sense to be able to figure out how to control them but when most people see bees the freak!

I cant believe it myself. I would have been too easy to have captured the swarm. I've used everything from feed bags, to 50 gallon trash bags to contain the swarm untill I could relocate them. Its not rocket science, any beekeeper w/half a brain for problem solving would have been able to figure this out.
Too many idiots these days.
