  1. I have the same hive from Beekind.
    Isn’t the entrance reducer a bit small?
    I was thinking of enlargin it.
    Is that what the bees are doing here? or did you enlarge it yourself.

  2. I didn’t modify it. I have been building top bar hives, though. Pretty easy, on the BACK, too. An elderly woman lit up when she discovered at our first beekeepers association meeting in Tivoli, New York, that top bar hives require so much less lifting! She’s decided to get back into beekeeping! -D
